We are so excited to participate in the Ronald MacDonald House Run/Walk for Kids again this year! This is a great event that raises money for an amazing place. As most of you know, Madison was diagnosed with a rare form of childhood cancer called Retinablastoma. We had to travel to A.I Dupont Childrens Hospital for 6 months so that she could recieve her 2 days of chemo treatment. Each time we went for treatments, we stayed at the Ronald MacDonald House. It brought us comfort knowing we had a safe and caring place to stay.
We love that this race is in September because it is also "Childhood Cancer Awareness Month". We will be wearing Gold (or yellow) on race day to show our support of all Childhood Cancers. We would love for you all to join us and wear gold (or yellow) too!
